• Are you an analytical drive person with curiosity in Capital Markets? Then this might be your next step! We are looking for an Associate Vice President-Analyst who will lead a portfolio of Latin American-based infrastructure companies and projects that includes utilities, power, and transportation companies. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is seeking to demonstrate their analytic competence while engaging with C-suite executives, finance and credit specialists, internally and externally, and publishing research on infrastructure finance and credit-related topics. • This role involves maintaining accurate ratings on projects and corporates in the infrastructure and power/utility spaces, in a manner consistent with Moody’s global methodologies and demonstrating in-depth knowledge of the operating environment and sectors. The role requires frequent interaction with investors, intermediaries, and issuers, and handling assigned relationships. It is expected that the individual hired will handle client relationships at a very senior level with integrity and engagement. A prerequisite for this role is to communicate clearly and confidently and get along with inside and outside parties. Other responsibilities of this position include writing comprehensive and insightful research on individual companies/projects and industry sectors, participating in outreach strategies with investors and intermediaries, and mentoring junior members of the team.

Qualificações

• Strong academic background at least equivalent to an MBA/CFA
• Five (5) years+ credit/risk assessment experience gained from a financial institution, asset management, or equivalent
• Solid understanding of project finance and infrastructure sectors in Brazil is highly desired.
• Well-developed analytical skills, with strong attention to detail.
• Strong written and oral communication capabilities
• Ability to run multiple priorities within the established timeframe.
• Has a proactive/” can do” approach to work, with a track record of demonstrating initiative and strong collaboration.
• Exercises good judgment: capable of developing an independent opinion and defending own views
• Bi-lingual in English and Portuguese is essential. Command of a third language – Spanish – would be advantageous
