Responsabilidades de Trabalho

Experian’s Latin America Corporate Development group is seeking an Intern to join our team and help deliver on Experian’s inorganic growth opportunities. The successful candidate will be responsible to support senior team members and stakeholders on end-to-end mergers and acquisitions (M&A), and venture capital (VC) investments execution across the Latin America region. There is considerable variability and visibility within the role and a technically strong, well-rounded candidate is essential. This Corporate Development Intern position requires a desire and ability to operate in a small, entrepreneurial team focused on delivering high impact and high-profile investments for Experian.

  • Deal strategy: Support development of investment playbooks, conduct industry and company research as required and help prepare target profiles and industry landscapes; Along with senior team members, partner closely with Business Units and Finance to develop pro-forma forecasts of potential deals;
  • Financial analysis and valuation: Prepare valuation analyses of potential acquisition targets, including DCF analysis, trading comparables, transaction comparables, LBO analysis, sum of parts and other valuation methods;
  • M&A/VC due diligence process coordination/support: Assist overall M&A/VC process with both external and internal stakeholders, with particular focus on helping to coordinate cross-functional due diligence and develop internal investment papers for Executive and Board approvals.

Qualificações

  • Desired previous short experience (internship level) on areas such as corporate finance, M&A or strategy in investment banks, Private Equity firms, large corporates, or at a Big 4 accounting firm;
  • Working towards the CFA designation; Studying towards the mid/end of undergraduate degree, preferably in quantitative-oriented fields such as Engineering;
  • Strong financial modelling, accounting, and quantitative analysis skills;
  • Fluent English is mandatory; Spanish is a differential;
  • Desired analytical and oral/written communications skills;
