Claudio Avanian Jacob graduated in economics from Universidade Presbiteriana Mackenzie with a master's degree from the Pontifical Catholic University of São Paulo and a doctorate from the Institute of Economics at Unicamp. He has been working at BM&FBOVESPA since 2000, where he has worked in the areas of Corporate Relations, Investor Relations and is currently Managing Director of Client and Business Development, and International Relations.
Daniel Lobo
Vice President at BlackRock
Daniel Lobo, Vice President, is a member of the Brazilian iShares sales team responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with Private Banks, Asset Managers, Multi and Single-Family Offices. Prior to joining BlackRock in 2013, Daniel had been part of the Third-Party Distribution team of Pátria Investimentos for 2 years covering Private Banks and Multi-Family Offices. Before that, Daniel was part of the Product Development team at Itaú Unibanco Asset Management in Brazil for 5 years. Daniel has a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil in 2006 and a post-graduation in Financial Products and Risk Management from FIA/USP, Brazil in 2009.
Leonardo Vasques, CFA
Senior Portfolio Manager of Index and SRI Funds Team at Itaú Asset Management
Leonardo joined Itaú Asset Management in 2000 and is currently Senior Portfolio Manager of Index and SRI Funds Team, where he is responsible for the management of Equity funds and ETFs. In his previous position he served as a Senior Fund Manager in the Brazil Equity team for 10 years. He began his career as an intern in Unibanco’s Risk Management department. Leonardo holds a degree in business administration from the Getulio Vargas Foundation, a law degree from the University of São Paulo, a post-graduate diploma in finance from the Getulio Vargas Foundation and a master’s degree in finance and economics from Insper. He is also a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA®)
